Vase The Tension

The Tension vase was created by exploring environmental issues. The glass vase has a pattern created using water from the melting Italian Marmolada glacier. The melted ice was added to the glass during the blowing process, creating a pattern on the surface of the glass when it cooled. The object - the hanging vase - includes a Dolomite stone. The result is a used object for the interior that carries a message for the future and reflects contemporary issues that resonate in society.
