Cukrolyt is an experimental object on the borderline between design, alchemy, and imaginary mineralogy. It was created as an attempt to create a unique mineral—a synthesis of porcelain, glass, and sugar. The rainbow-colored porcelain base evokes the geological structure of an unknown stone, while the glass lens acts as a window into the object. The sugary substance becomes an organic element that envelops the object and disrupts its solid form. Cukrolyt resembles an artifact from another world—a fragment of a non-existent geology where sweetness, light, and matter meet. The object is part of a limited collection of five pieces.
