Glass artist, designer and glass painter MgA. František Jungvirt (*1996) studied glass painting at the Secondary School in Třebon and is a graduate of the glass studio at the UMPRUM in Prague under the guidance of sculptor Rony Plesl. Currently, he creates under his own eponymous brand františek jungvirt. In his work, he most often uses traditional references of Czech glassmaking, giving them a new expression. With each work, he tries to advance the technical and visual possibilities of the industry. The characteristic features of Jungvirt's work include not only playing with shapes, but also with colors or hand-painted motifs. In addition to the design of useful objects, he is dedicated to the creation of art objects, installations and limited series made of glass. His portfolio includes design vases intended for everyday use as well as artistic objects full of fantasy.
